Make your calling and election sure

In,(2Peter 1:10) God said "MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE".Someone might ask,Just how do we do this?Lets look in the book,(THE BIBLE).God has given us every thing we need to make this journey.The Bible is more than just a book it is the holy, infallible, word of God.This book was not written by man,It does not contain mans wisdom,Nor by mans wisdom can the treasures and secrets be found.God only, can reveal his word.Its not the educated scholar that finds God hidden in his word.It is the truly born again Holy Ghost filled childe of God,thats who God reveals himself to.The scripture says,Unto babies who will learn.Not the educated scholar,who is so full of pomp and himself that he cant humble himself before God,we are not anything. The Bible says,"OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AS FILTHY RAGS",just meditate on this,ponder it in your heart to fully grasp what God is saying.God is revealed in his word.From Genesis to Revelation he has given us his words that he has preserved,(PSALMS 12:6,7)
The old and the new from start to finish is all the word of God.It is all profitable,otherwise Almighty God would not have given it to us.First lets look at the true plan of salvation according to the scriptures,(ACTS 2:38)remembering in(MATTHEW 16:18,19)God gave Peter the keys to the kingdom and in (ACTS 2:38) we see those keys unlocking the plan of salvation for every man.Peter said "Repent every one of you".He was not excluding any,but the word was to all.Now remember Jacobs ladder you start at the bottom step and you climb it one step at a time.So is the plan of salvation;step one,repntence,step too,water baptism in JESUS name,step three be filled with the HOLY GHOST.We have to obey every command,and take every step in the order that God has laid out.Remember God is infallible he is NEVER wrong,he NEVER makes a mistake,he knows just what it will take to make it.Hes the one that wrote the book,and hes the one thats provided the plan.God is always looking to help us. He loves us and his desire is that none should perish.But through studying the scriptures we know that there will only be a remnant.Thats why God said"Be diligent to make your calling and election sure.I would encourage anyone who is reading this to get into the scriptures(PRAYERFULLY).The Bible is the book of wisdom,Gods wisdom,and that is what every man needs.Man has drifted so far from God,as the Bible says,"Hes on the outside".Mans theology and doctrine has put the WORD OF GOD,(JESUS CHRST)out.We have lots of whited sepulchres but inside they are full of dead mens bones.The Bible says there is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof is death.We better get in touch with the author of the book.He is the only one that can open up the eyes of your understanding.This wisdom,this revelation does not come out of the schools of theology nor the seminaries.Lets look at Paul,God had to empty him out of all he had learned from Gamaliel and start over,teaching Paul TRUTH straight from glory.Mans wisdom only conflicts with the wisdom of God.God calls preachers and teachers that he places over his flock.But it is the Holy Ghost in them that is the teacher or the preacher.Its not by education but it is by revelation,and revelation of the word of God comes only from the Spirit of God.So how do we make our calling and election sure,Its according to the word of God revealed.Our lives must line up with the scriptures.We will only enter the kingdom Gods way.God said if you try to get up any other way you are a theif and a robber.Remember the one who had slipped into the wedding supper and God said,friend how did you get in here seeing you dont have on the wedding garment(The word of God,We must be clothed in the word)cast him into outer darkness,there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.This is very serious and should not be overlooked or taken lightly,God is not playing he wants us to make it but its up to us,Choose Ye This Day Whom You Will Serve.Some people think,and have been taught,that all you have to do is believe.Believing is only the first step up the ladder we must continue to go forward in our walk with God.God is not dead,he is still leading his people.We must walk in all the light that he shines on our path.That light is the word of God revealed.The scripture says not the hearers only,but the doers of the word.If we believe his word then we will do all he commands.Some people will wrestle the scriptures and this will be to their own destruction.Gods ways are not our ways,He said"Lean not unto thine own understanding but in ALL thy ways acknowledge me and I will direct thy paths".We start out as babies,first we crawl,then we learn to walk,pretty soon we are running.And as David said, I ran through their troops and leaped over their walls.There are troops of well meaning religious people they are kept in by denominational walls.But as God shines the light of revelation on your path like David,you will run through their troops and leap over their walls.This is taking another step up that ladder.In the book of Revelation we see this again in chapter 18 verse 4.When God said,"Come out of her MY PEOPLE."God reveals that her,the woman types the church.Come out of her,"Orginized Religion",that ye be not partakers of her sins,and that ye receive not of her plagues.Again these scriptures are very serious.The orginized church world today has put God out,they have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.They do GREATLY err for they dont know the scriptures nor the power of God.The power of the scriptures is God.It is his infallible,unchangeable,holy word.There is so much in his word that needs our prayerful attintion and devotion.God is willing to lead us if we will ASK,SEEK,AND KNOCK.If we will surrender our whole heart and let God lead we will have real experiences with our Heavenly Father.It wont be just head knowledge,you will experience salvation as God entends his children to.God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think.In closing I would encourage you to search the scriptures for in them you might think you have eternal life,and by the scriptures make your calling and election sure.

PRAYER

Are you a Christian? Do you pray? Prayer is vital to the life of a Christian,I would even say it is the most important part of a Christians life.If we dont pray we dont have a relationship with God.Prayer is a privilege,it is a very precious gift.Not something that should be taken lightly.In prayer we commune with God and he communes with us.Not only is prayer a privilege,but it is a commandment for our good,"WATCH AND PRAY THAT YOU BE COUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE THE THINGS THAT ARE COMING UPON THIS WORLD".Prayer keeps us humble before God,through prayer we stay in check.God reveals things as we labour in prayer.Its through prayer that he can bring someone before you to intercede for what they stand in need of.Through our obedience to pray we see God do great things.The devil will do anything to keep you from praying,even saten knows how vital prayer is to a Christans life.Guard your time with God,put it above everything.Daniel ran an empire but he prayed three times a day.I've done some studys of strong Christians in history and every one of them had a strong and devoted prayer life.Saten wouldent war so hard in this area if it wasent so very important.God said "DRAW NIGH TO ME AND I WILL DRAW NIGH TO YOU".Its through prayer and studying of the scriptures that we draw nigh, and he draws nigh.We need God,we need his guidence,we need his instructions.In every aspect of our lifes we need him.Thats why he came, and died ,and rose again,becaue we need him.Brothers and Sisters dont neglect so great a salvation.Draw near to him in prayer keep your mind stayed upon him.This world is evil and full of wickedness.The end is very near.Dont let the devil rob you that you would neglect to pray.God said"Lay aside every weight and the sin that does so easily beset you and run this race with patience".The cares of this life will weight you down,you will be to busy and to tired to pray.Guard your time with God,Take heed when you think your standing least you fall.In prayer we get answers,waite for that answer.The Scriptures say he was found of them that diligently sought him.Be diligent in prayer.The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.Be fervent, be diligent and waite on God.Those that waite on him,and trust in him for all their needs,We wonte be ashamed and God wont let us down.Stay close in this end time.The enemy is working on every hand to kill,to steal,and to destroy.Therefore Be Fervent,Be Diligent,Redeeming The Time For The Days Are Evil.

We Need God

Trouble starts when we fail to do the things God has commanded us to do.Like,WATCH AND PRAY,STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED,GIVE ATTENDENCE TO READING,NOT TO FORSAKE THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER.When God commanded us to do these things he knew what it was going to take to make it.When we drift from our steadfastness we are weak and vulnerable to the enemy. God has commanded us to stay close because he knows that "WE NEED HIM".There is peace, reast,comfort and safty in obeying God.He is everything,He is all we need.Our God is a consuming fire.Give him your all and He will take care of all. take no thought for tomarrow,what you will eat,what you will wear,God has taken thought for all our tomarrows so rest in today.He is the great I AM He will meet your needs this day and every day to come.Dont worry,dont fret only rest.There is nothing that He cant handle,there is nothing that He does not know.He said I have taken thought for you.He owns it all.He has an abundent supply of all we need.

Eyes Of Faith

Man will never see God through the eyes of science.God is only seen and experienced through eyes of faith.

Take Heed To The Shepherds Call

Im The Shepherd,your the sheep.Im the Saviour that your soul needs.Once I died so you could live.Once I bore your many sins.Once I hung in open shame,but more than once Ive called your name. The end of time is drawing near.The trumpet has sounded for all to hear.Where will you stand on judgment day,in that long line to hear him say,depart from me I never knew you.Or will you be clothed in white the bride washed clean is his delight.There are only too paths a man can take one will bring you to the pearly gates,the other to a burning hell.So will you listen,will you beleive.Will you answer when I call your name.The day is far spent the hour is at hand,and Ill not meet you like a man.Surender now while Im still hear.For eternity is very near.Dont listen to satens lies he will tell you theres still plenty of time.But hes a liar your soul he will take to spend eternity in that firey lake.

Has Your Fire Gone Out

The voice of Christianity has been quieted to barely a whisper. We have let the Word of God fall to the ground.People have lost sight of Biblical principles.Preachers arent preaching,they are as the Bible calls them hirelings,teaching for doctrine the commandments of men,and the fear of God is taught by the precepts of men.Just carnal minds teaching carnal theories and opinions.But we have a reasonable duty as christians,(IF THAT IS WHAT WE ARE CLAIMING TO BE),To study to show ourselves approved UNTO GOD a workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly deviding the Word of truth.Then to live it,and lift up that holy standard of God.Jesus said,If I be lifted up I will draw men unto me.The Bible says,In the begining was the Word,and the Word was with God,and the Word was God, and the Word was made flesh,and dwelt among us,(Jesus the Word made flesh).Are we lifting up the Word of God,or have we traded THE TRUTH for what is politicly correct.Have we found comfort in lies because its easier on the flesh.Have we so backed up on God that we cant even recognize whos behind the mask,saten has many disguises.We are supposd to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.God said we would not be ignorent to his devices.But who hungers and thirsts after righteousness today,who makes their calling and election sure.God is taken for granted He has been tossed aside and forsaken.America has left God,the fire has gone out.God said if you stand for me I will stand for you.Are you a Christian or do you just use his name to take away your reproch,are you willing to suffer for his name sake.Are you willing to suffer persecutions as he said we would if we lived for him and followed him.(Take up your cross and follow me).America needs to wake up and return to God with all their heart,and soul,and might,and pray that we be counted worthy to escape the things that are coming upon this world.(IF YOUR ASHAMED OF ME THEN I WILL BE ASHAMED OF YOU).
